Crane Positions Available

Each of these positions requires that candidates must have high school diploma or GED and be a U.S. Citizen

Crane Technician Overview:

  • Site possesses over 400 cranes that deliver jet engine parts for assembly.

  • Job abilities include preventative maintenance, repair, operation, and inspection.

  • Amentum is looking for candidates who have previous overhead crane, gantry system, hoist, and/ or jib/hoist experience OR have industrial mechanical maintenance experience and want to specialize in crane repair.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Work at heights of 30ft or more in aerial or scissors lift

  • Regularly lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift.

  • Flexibility to bend/stoop, squat repetitive during shift.

  • Ability to regularly kneel repetitive for shift.

  • Move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for shift.

  • Stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for shift.

  • Walk extensively throughout the plant during shift.

  • Requires the use of a Company/Client approved utility knife.

  • Differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-coding.

1st shift

This position has a minimum requirement of 3 years crane or mechanical experience.   You have to be able to work in a aerial or lift at heights of 30 feet or more.

2nd shift

This position has a minimum requirement of 10 years crane or mechanical experience.   You have to be able to work in an aerial or lift at heights of 30 feet or more.

HVAC/R Technician IV

Providing an advanced level of expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and providing preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC-related equipment in an industrial environment

Responds and provides service and feedback to the customer on hot and cold calls while utilizing Automated Building Controls training

Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair heating and ventilation equipment, pumps, fans, chillers, dryers, compressors, and other mechanical equipment as necessary

Industrial Electrician

1st shift

3 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing all types of electrical and mechanical facilities equipment; replace lamps and repair lighting systems; perform inspections, lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc.

Experience performing basic troubleshooting, maintenance and minor repair of low voltage lighting systems and electrical equipment such as switch gear, disconnects, faulty breakers etc.

Experience performing basic electrical repairs to switches, outlets, and lighting ballasts

Industrial HVAC Technician

1st shift

5 years of experience Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing heating and ventilation equipment, pumps, fans, chillers, dryers, compressors, and other mechanical equipment

Work safely with 3-phase power up to and including 480V. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical circuits ranging from 24VAC/DC and up including lighting and load centers.

EPA Universal Certification

Industrial Maintenance Electrician II

1st shift

Two years of experience maintaining buildings, facilities, or equipment a large commercial or industrial environment

You have to be able to work in an aerial or lift at heights of 30 feet or more. 

Experience performing basic troubleshooting, maintenance and minor repair of electrical equipment such as disconnects, faulty breakers etc.

CNC Positions Available

Each of these positions requires that candidates must have high school diploma or GED and be a U.S. Citizen

CNC Technician Overview:

Our CNC technicians are part of a 10 member technical team that maintain, develop, and continuously improve the preventative maintenance activities. 

  • Multi-Axis Wet and Dry Grinders

  • Balancers and Central Coolant Systems

  • Pumps and Exhaust systems

  • HVAC Units and Tool Changers

  • Hydraulic and electrical systems

Must be skilled in robots and robotic control systems, such as FANUC, ABB, Mazatrol Kuka, Yaskawa, Kawasaki, Denso and Mitsubishi. Must be fluent working with instrumentation, such as thermocouples; RTD's, pressure, flow, position and level transducers. Work with voltage from control (12-24V) through medium voltage motor controls 480 volts, 3 phases.
